SERVICES FOR ORGANISATIONS

HRD Strategy
Far from being an intellectual or abstract exercise, developing strategy is a way of tackling quite pragmatic issues: prioritising among conflicting demands for scarce resource or creating new, more effective ways of delivering value to the organisation. Services include help in developing a comprehensive strategy or in achieving a specific strategic aim.

Competencies
Competencies are invaluable in providing a common and consistent language for discussing performance and potential and matching people to jobs. But traditional approaches to competency profiling are often slow and expensive. HBC's approach is fast and flexible. The focus is on future priorities as much as past excellence and equips organisations to continue to review and update their profiles as situations change.

Psychometrics
Personality questionnaires can add value to many individual development initiatives. For example, they can help identify strengths and weaknesses, career motivations or leadership style and can help address specific relationship issues. Usually used in the context of Executive Coaching, Career Counselling or Management Development programs. I am registered with British Psychological Society as a qualified user of these questionnaires and have a code of practice available on request.

360 Degree Feedback
Gathering feedback from multiple sources - direct reports, peers and bosses can provide excellent insights to shape and influence career and development planning. Two different instruments are used, one for general feedback (Skillscope) the other specifically for those working at, or aspiring to, the highest levels in organisations (Benchmarks). In each case, help is given to translate the feedback into an effective development strategy.
